rains daily; wet fields

wait. People walk

the same path, east to west

just because, that's better – they say

More, wait ing

and the ground will recognize

direction, as light will pair shadow

and reflect patterns of habitude

in reaction to

touch

within legs, hands

will understand west

and the urge of

splitting rain particles

into things

we don't name

lest loosing the sight

aches

a million times
