Basic Need

Basic Need

People need to sleep. Houses can stay
awaken longer. Cause they forget more
easily. We sleep so we are able to
forget the weight of things we
are made of. For some seconds only
values, relations, objects
get all fuzzy, distorted they
mingle and melt into each other
developing new properties. Then
we're in.

I personally enjoy, feeling
the discrete weight of a book
on my forehead, before my virtual
structures start blurring. The smell
is also important. Not to mention
the content, the story or the
picture we make of it. Without
one, it gets gruelling.

Houses can stay slumbering
for ages. I once lived in one such
house. Boredom reigned, indifference
was a perpetual state of
mind, focused on nothing
I dwelt in time. In fact
I'm not sure anymore if I'm
still in.
