a florir encurvada, rosa-creme-leite
pálpebra semiaberta, humedecida quase
rio, amiúde somos
água deslizando sem razão, apenas
uma força que puxa matéria
aquela escondida por detrás do olhar
das mãos, dos dedos amiúde surge
a gravidade das coisas
dos sítios das palavras nascem
arrepios e pensamentos
da forma e textura da pele
levanta-se a briza que aflora o mar
suave até ao abismo e deleite
da espuma.

Anatomy of Us
We are often
more than hands, fingers, eyes, rain, smell, earth
we often have to choose the most innocuous place
so that the touch doesn't break and continues
being the refinement of a petal
flowering curved, rose-cream-milk like
half-open eyelid, almost moistened
we are often
water sliding for no reason, just
a force that pulls matter
the one hidden behind the gaze
of hands, of fingers often arises
the gravity of things
within words plot are born
shivers and thoughts
the shape and texture of skin from which
the sea breeze rises touching the surface
smooth up to the abyss and foam's
delight.

Alameda Sul
No
lágrimas verdes, daquele verde vida, tenro, transparente, iniciador
dos espaços e das estações.
Opto,
normalmente, por não falar a ninguém. Absorto em ideias de
sentimentos, elapso o tempo numa espécie de roteiro do intocável,
frágil mas sereno, eu.
Também
nunca soube o número exacto, aquele que me levaria à morada certa,
rapidamente.

The
other day I was able to verify how much in us lives, without our
belonging. And as I moved along streets lined with tombstones of
marble and cement, it were trees of gray branches weeping infinite
green tears, the sort of that life green, tender, transparent,
initiator of spaces and seasons.
I
usually choose not to speak to anyone. Absorbed in ideas of feelings,
I spent time in a kind of script of the untouchable, fragile but
serene, me.
I
was also never aware of the exact number, the one that would take me
to the right address, quickly. It requires a somewhat anxious process
of approximation, an imperfect form of adjustment to a simple,
unknown world. Instead of certainties, I focus on the buildings that
line the southern side. And I know that as in life, in death she
remains near. As if she didn't dare to turn away from her identity.

Paisagens Vespertinas
Paisagens
Vespertinas
química do coração.
Regozijei-me

Paisagens
Rúbeas
Sentir
aquele prazer infantil, de nada
ter
de fazer, senão estar e observar
uma
dormência que desce pela espinha
o
quanto, apesar de inúteis somos
queridos,
presentes, constantes como
peça
de joalharia fina, ao pescoço
brilhando,
escondida
Acerco-me
desses dias apenas
vagamente
induzo propriedades quentes
que
acredito residirem algures
dentro
de mim posso
acordá-las
e olhá-las com a inércia
da
saudade
Depois
há os mapas, que digo
serem
de cidades, mas em verdade são
representações
das almas que já
amei
e amo
Habito-as
a todas, ensino-as
por
quadrantes e linhas respeito
cada
casa, cada parque, cada rio
memorizo
seus cursos
até
à foz há-de ser
oceano.

Lascívia e Mel
Lascívia
e Mel
Os
pressupostos são claros. Lascívia e mel para toda a gente. Pequenas
Do leite surgirão as
curas dos nossos problemas, tão míseros como
catequistas.
Porra!

Flowers, Debris and Lost Towns
Flowers,
Debris and Lost Towns
Walking
again on thorny stones, naked
feet cooling off the desire that bursts
from the earth beneath; like little butterflies
sketching hearts
in
the sky
and a sort of imagination setting feathers off
onto mountain
peaks
To
you, now, the hand that observes
yours
as it slides between my
fingers
down to the sides of your
sex. Or maybe us walking
above
water, whereas the realization
there's no end
to the distance, left
alone the touch
the learning, the living
pops into my mind
As
rivers fill, I must secure
ripe fruit from drowning. Two minutes
will
be enough. To die not
i feed my hunger, holding my breath the
closest
to the memory
and jump diving into the cold. There
I search
among flowers, debris and lost towns. But
yours is nowhere to be
found
A
bird's chanting
makes its way to the sky. Its sound
is the trigger
that shall mean both
men and nature's rise
One day. Near.

Lucky One
Lucky
One
“In
reality, it all goes down to a set of dynamically emotional pictures
faithfully kept at the media library of our cerebral cortex.”
It
would maybe be around six-forty. Time entered slowly into that edged
luminosity - the hour when tips are broken, ceasing to be, and brief
stories hand-and-line mended are resumed. A mother returned home,
from work, walking. A necessary survival as well as learning life
constant. A child waited by the window. A lingering heartbeat,
measuring the thickness of fear, stuck to the darkness beyond the
cold glass. An urgency of blood ran through the city arteries. The
trees, so far uncovered and muted, were the melancholy. That we
shared, all of us, like air and water and earthly roots. Then there
were the eternally immaculate birds, which in these days went
sheltered in arcades and chimneys. One waits upon the arrival under
the awe of sickness. Maybe the one and only possible way.
Ten
minutes would probably have gone by when the thud sounded beyond the
gates and walls, and the red stained the paint-white and the dark
tar-gray. On the road, a mother-woman lay. For a moment everything
stopped, except the clots, gushing. Two ambulances came. People
gathered in frigid anguish. Everything went as planned.
The
child hugged the mother more intensely. This time, she was lucky.
